How to Explain Warranty Coverage on a Home Service Website
Warranty information can reassure customers, but only when the terms are clear. State what work or products a warranty applies to, who provides it, and where a customer can read the full conditions.
Avoid broad claims such as lifetime coverage unless the written warranty clearly supports them. Explain any differences between manufacturer coverage and workmanship coverage, including who handles a claim and what documentation may be needed.
If coverage depends on maintenance, product registration, or other requirements, summarize that in plain language and link to the official terms. Do not imply that a warranty covers ordinary wear, unrelated damage, or every repair unless it does.
Ask the business owner or warranty administrator to review the page before publication. Keep the wording aligned with current written agreements, and update it whenever the coverage changes.
