What to Do When an Ad Gets Clicks but Few Inquiries

Clicks show that people are reaching a page, but they do not tell you whether the campaign is attracting the right customers or whether the page makes the next step clear. Start by checking that the click data and inquiry tracking are working as expected.

Compare the ad promise with the landing page. The service, area, price language, and offer should match. If the ad is broad but the page is specific—or the page is hard to use on a phone—visitors may leave without contacting you.

Test the inquiry path yourself. Submit the form, call the number, and confirm that the message reaches the right person. Review page speed, field count, error messages, and whether the visitor can find the next step without scrolling through unrelated content.

Look at search terms or audience delivery and compare inquiries with the jobs you want. Make one deliberate adjustment, record the date, and review the effect after enough activity has accumulated. Do not assume low conversion is always a page problem or always an ad problem.
